Wow - at 4:25 against 1 SRT, he missed a shift, and STILL walked the SRT4?
Me thinks he's racing serious amateurs!

Yes. And honestly I don't see it being "walked" by a TC Balt. See below link...

The Solstice guys are breaking 12's with just a tune on street tires.

So a tune and DR's I imagine the Cobalt SS could do it.

Hell us G8 guys are breaking 12.6's with just an intake and tune. Some have broken 12.9 with just the tune!

Hence why I said DR's on a cobalt....

If a rwd car can do it on skinny street tires I see no reason why you couldnt do it with DR's on fwd car.

I'm sure there will be a couple of people to do it this summer.

Im not going to get in an argument with you about it..

But I will put money on it, a good driver in an SS/TC with just a TUNE and DRAG RADIALS, will be able to run a high twelve.

Turbo Cobalts should be close to 12s on an aggressive tune alone. We have seen 13.5s bone stock. Tunes are good for 30whp and 75+ ft lbs. Add the fact that you can raise the rev limiter to shift higher and stay over 250whp for pretty much the whole pass, the light-weight Cobalt should be capable of 12s. Obviously traction would be the limiting factor. I think it could be done at Norwalk.

Yup

It will be done, I guarantee it.

Ecoboost already ran a 12.95 with intake exhaust a tune and DR.

For sure someone will be able to do it with just a tune and DR
