08 cobalt ss 10 psi max??
Hi i got a question.
My 08 cobalt ss was running fine and the my boost was around 15 psi max all the time, and if i turn off traction control off and esc. Off i was getting around 20psi max
, and this morning the boost is 10 psi max no more.
The car starts fine and runs fine, only 10 psi. Boost
check engine light on, check the codes and its getting code p0451 .
I did oil change and clean the air filter a week ago. And it was fine.
My only mods are injen cai and injen turbo pipes. Im not sure if it has a tune.
Thanks.

emissions code P0451 is most likely the purge selenoid on the intake manifold. If it fails you will likely have varying issues such as you described.
Here is how to check the selenoid. Even if it tests fine, I would still replace it.
Here is a link to the part. It can be replaced in under 5 minutes. Right on top of the intake manifold when you open the hood.

Looks really easy to change.
My car is working fine again . My upper turbo pipe clamp was loose.
But i still have the p0451 code . Hope it will go out whit the new purge selenoid.
Thanks again

Fuel pump wont kick in
I started having problems to start the car, the fuel pump sometimes didnt kick in and sometimes is working fine.
I got the fuel pump replaced and im still having the same problem, the fuel pump wont kick in, i open the ignition and no noise of the pump,.
And if i wait a couple of hours or try it the next morning it will start fine and drives great.
And then again open the ignition and nothing fuel pump not working , i dont know what to do, fuel pump relay its ok, the wiring to the pump its ok, they check everything on the car .
Any suggestions .
Thanks for your time.
