2008 Cobalt SS Engine Power Reduced

Hey everyone I was on my way home from work yesterday and my car was working fine originally. About 10 minutes into my drive a message popped up on my dash saying "Engine Power Reduced" I was going about 45. The car didn't slow down, like some other people's issues I've seen on here. There is just no acceleration.

Got my CELs reset and codes that popped were:
P0087 - Fuel Rail Pressure Too Low (Symptom 00)
P0089 - Fuel Pressure Regulator Performance (Symptom 00)

Mods are pretty minor other than an LDK swap that was done a few years back. But they are K&N CAI, Opel Fuel Injectors, MP catless DP and full exhaust, and a tune.

Car had been running fine for over a year. You think it could be as simple as some wiring coming loose even though these are the thrown codes? Anybody have any experience with these two codes? Any input is appreciated, thanks!

Update: My car will in fact go above 45 so I don't know if this is considered limp mode or not..

Update 2: My tune about a year ago was E85/93 tune, but stopped running that when I got to Hawaii since E85 isn't available here. Just letting you know in case that makes a difference in diagnosis.

sounds like the HPFP is having issues.

stopped running a e85 and 93 blend tune? So like a e47 tune you stopped using or flashed it for a 93 tune for Hawaii?

I stopped running 47 and switched to 92 when I got out here. Car is still drivable and idles pretty normally other than I don't hear the ticking noise from the direct injection. Just kind of scary merging into Honolulu traffic when your car is going 0-60 in about 30 seconds.. You think HPFP is probably the issue?

Either the wiring harness next to the HPFP is rubbing on the fuel pump, or your fuel pump has **** the bed.

This.

I had a similar problem. Turned out the wiring loom was rubbing on the fuel pump cover. Check out this thread for more info.
