I hope you didn't change the pump cause of the noise, cause all the noises in that video are normal fuel pump and injector noises for direct injection. please tell me you didn't waste your money before asking about it lol

but sound noise like this trek trek trek this noise high pressure pump maybe hot spot lifter problem ?

All the ticking noises in the vid are normal direct injection system noises for these vehicles unfortunately. Hate to say you wasted some $$$, but on the brightside at least you don't have to worry about the fuel pump leaking.

Had the same question after test driving a SS for the first time.

On cold start it's really loud but after a minute or so it slows down and gets a little quieter.

Sad to say you wasted a fair bit of money.

Its the pump, and injectors also make similar noise. Totally normal.

**** lol. To think i just bought a new pump because i HAD to, and hated spending the 275$. This guy just buys one to spite lol.

Hes not English or at least doesnt speak english very well. From his other post, I take it where ever he is, he is the only person with a Cobalt in that area and has no idea whats normal or what needs maintenance. He's here looking for info.

Id give him a break.

The loud tick tick tick sound is normal as everyone else has said. Sorry if you spent some money to get it fixed :/
