new to the lnf life. looking for opinions
Hey everyone I recently bought a 09 ss/tc and I've been reading that the best place to start when it comes to performance is a tune. I currently have 100k miles and a warranty that covers me till 200K. For that reason I like the trifecta tune since I can turn it on or off. But I'm not a fan of canned tunes so I'd rather have the hp tune. What are your thoughts? Also looking for a tuner in the chicagoland area. Thanks in advance.

Get the GMS1 you can keep your warranty. I have it and I hit 21psi with a stock airbox mod/upgraded lnf tube/forged bypass valve and muffler delete. Car is fast. I beat my buddies 240sx. He's got a 2.0l turbo sr20det in it and he's shifting to 3rd after 6k rpm and my car is still pulling on him in 2nd while he's in 3rd. Pretty even until hit the higher Rpms against him.
Oh and I also have a stage 3 clutch

I'm at 120k miles and still toying with the idea of getting a tune. Local Chevy dealership wanted ~$400 to install it + $500 for the kit. Trifecta want ~$300 for the kit + $200 deposit for the wire, but so many people say the Trifecta tune isn't worth it. I also can't find any HPTuners in SoCal.
I'll probably not get it done for a while anyway.
