You can just plug the vacuum tube that would go to and return from it.

Get your ECM read. You don't get the MIL sometimes, but there will still be a code listed.

When you said you lost traction, did you hit the rev limiter?

When you said you lost traction, did you go from full boost to completely letting off the gas pedal? If so, you likely slipped a clamp on one of the pipe connections at the IC. See pic below. I've had that happen twice before.

Nope i wasnt even on boost i was making a turn at maybe 20mph lost traction then it went into limp mode after maybe 100 meters after i made turn i was just coasting down the road then i tried to get in gear and it didnt wanna respond so i stopped the car it was making some weird noise. I turned off the car started it back up and everything was back to normal

Also did the tank delete didnt help one bit my car still is making a sound like if i have a goat inside it. its pissing me off but what can i do. already replaced my bpv solenoid and bpv to a forged unit but hasnt helped a bit.
When i replaced the solenoid it worked good for almost 1 week then it started again i probably need to backprobe the solenoid connection to see if its working correctly

I cracked my vacuum tank wide open on the stock turbo, 26psi E85 tune going around at the road track lol, replaced under warranty. I've had it bypassed most of the time since then. Doesn't seem to affect anything, one way or another.

Lol well i think mine got worse with the tank delete lol im going to install it back on wed when i have access to a lift. But still idk what else to check. Would a small crack on the ic or lower/upper pipe case that kind of problem? Also shouldn't that give me a cel?

no it doesn't change the power, just the sound of the bpv a little. mine was bad and would not let me boost past 15 psi, it would keep opening the bpv. got rid of it, not a problem after. can say how much I hate plastic crap on a engine.

I wouldn't even hook the tank back up. I have had mine unhooked for 80k miles no issue. I believe some of the Kappa cars with LNF don't even have a vacuum tank.

As for CEL. When I blew my driver side lower pipe off the intercooler it wasn't setting a code. But my got the turbine sound coming out of the pipe was obvious.

did you hit the limiter? loosing tracking generally wont break a car.

you have or have not checked the intercooler? you dont need to smack it for it to crack.
