Zzp pcm tune?

Hey guys, was wondering if anyone has the zzp canned tune? I want to get rid of the Trifecta tune and see if the car runs any better. I have full bolt ons. Would any one know what kind of HP/TQ I would get from the zzp tune. Any help is appreciated thx.

I mean it's a canned tuned so it not going to be the best tune you can get, but if you can go back to stock tune and buy hp tuners you should get tuned by kmo43 from here

How would I go about flashing back to stock tune? I heard Trifecta has a lock on it right?

ZZP offers remote tuning if you have Hptuners in which we can remotely tune you. Our tune is NOT a 'canned' tune that we just throw on everyone's cars. We customize the tune based on your mods that is very consistently within a percent of being spot on.

We have access to send you a totally new PCM as well or a core charge.

our PCMs are not locked.

Yes you guys can remote tune but then you wouldn't really need to buy a pcm from you if someone had hptuners already. Yes you guys take intake and other stuff into consideration when making the tune but the pcm is sent ready for the car. To me at least that sounds canned (with some mods added to it) but yes I know you guys can make revisions but then again you need hptuners for that

Yes and no on the pcm- if he wants to go a different way with his current pcm I believe he needs the tactrix cable and for trifecta to send him his stock tune so it will be unlocked. Without it his current pcm can't be edited.

I think they always have but I'm not sure if they do them without you buying the pcm from them first

The PCM/Core is basically free. You are paying for the tune mostly. We offer the core swap option just so you do not have to have your car down for any length of time.

We tune for intakes, GMs1 sensors, blow through/MAF relocations/External BOVs, cams, turbo kits etc etc. Every PCM sent out is a bit different. We don't just throw the same thing on everyone's PCM, is basiclaly what I'm saying.

While we have to have it a bit safe as we aren't sent any logs, they are pretty dang spot on and customers make loads of power, reliably, on them.

But yes, HPtuners/log files/dyno tuning would be better, obviously.

we always have. Its right on our LNF turbo PCM webpage. If you need remote custom tuning its a slight bit extra, but simply emailing customerservice@zzperformance.com I can get an email into the hands it needs to be in.

Interested in this cause I'm thinking about GMS1. But everyone says ZZP or kmo43 or HPT. I need reliability. It's my only car (unfortunately). I am wondering how the tunes run as far as location. If I get a tune sent to me based on mods etc and I'm in FL vs PA vs CO etc. basically asking how much altitude affects it. I have GMS1 sensors ready to go but I don't want to do them till I figure out what I'm doing. Might have to sell because GM doesn't let you use your own parts. I'll make them use the harnesses though.

We have had many customers travel through multiple states with zero issues. We use HP Tuners and make the tune reliable and safe from your vehicle. We had a west coat customer drive 19 hours to come see us with our LNF tune with zero issues. :-)

If you want a mild tune that's all you have to say kmo43 can get you tuned really fast. I've had my car boosted for 3 yrs zero issues

I don't really want to unleash the beast yet. I have time for that. I just need something to get me by lol. Something a bit more than stock without pushing limits. I like that GMS1 is reliable as hell and I just need to make the appointment and go. HPT is just as much as GMS1 which is why I was ruling out HPT. I was looking into ZZP cause my dad keeps saying that I should do that. ZZP isn't as expensive but is canned so I didn't want to run that (I'm new to all of this). Was going to play it super safe and just GMS1. Maybe when I get my valves cleaned I can go bigger and better. Right now I just need something that is above stock but not all out 300+ hp. It's bone stock. I have no mods at all. Doesn't seem worth it to do all the custom tuning if it's stock... cause I'll have to retune when I get more done. With GMS1 it'll be fine to throw different stuff on and it shouldn't affect the tune.

Here's a different way of looking at it, sure, GMS1 is easy, it'll get you by, its reliable... but where do you go from there?
If you get HPT and have someone remote tune you, then down the road when you start adding stuff (if that is your plan) you can go back to the person that tuned you and say "hey I just added xxxxxxxxx" and they can adjust your tune, either included within your initial tune cost, or for a nominal fee (I know different tuners do it different ways, a friend of mine got tuned and gets so many retunes, after that he has to pay $50 or something like that per)

I've got a GM Stage 2, it came with my car, now I want more... so I'm facing the same thing, because I can't afford to go all out with the car right now, I'll be adding things over time.
I suggest finding a tuner you can work with. I've already talked to KMO43 about my tune, in just a few PMs I'm dead certain that when the time comes he'll be the one to do it.

Yup that exactly just talk with kmo and you won't regret it you can still get power just from tuning without mods either way that's what your doing with gms1

Do you have a vid of the 113mph run? At least a timeslip? I'm sure we'd all like to see that. When I had my car tuned I had high hopes of 112ish mph on 93 but never happened. I'd like to see what got you there... ty
