Zzp pcm tune?
Hey guys, was wondering if anyone has the zzp canned tune? I want to get rid of the Trifecta tune and see if the car runs any better. I have full bolt ons. Would any one know what kind of HP/TQ I would get from the zzp tune. Any help is appreciated thx.

ZZP offers remote tuning if you have Hptuners in which we can remotely tune you. Our tune is NOT a 'canned' tune that we just throw on everyone's cars. We customize the tune based on your mods that is very consistently within a percent of being spot on.
We have access to send you a totally new PCM as well or a core charge.
our PCMs are not locked.

Yes you guys can remote tune but then you wouldn't really need to buy a pcm from you if someone had hptuners already. Yes you guys take intake and other stuff into consideration when making the tune but the pcm is sent ready for the car. To me at least that sounds canned (with some mods added to it) but yes I know you guys can make revisions but then again you need hptuners for that

We tune for intakes, GMs1 sensors, blow through/MAF relocations/External BOVs, cams, turbo kits etc etc. Every PCM sent out is a bit different. We don't just throw the same thing on everyone's PCM, is basiclaly what I'm saying.
While we have to have it a bit safe as we aren't sent any logs, they are pretty dang spot on and customers make loads of power, reliably, on them.
But yes, HPtuners/log files/dyno tuning would be better, obviously.
we always have. Its right on our LNF turbo PCM webpage. If you need remote custom tuning its a slight bit extra, but simply emailing customerservice@zzperformance.com I can get an email into the hands it needs to be in.
Yep

Interested in this cause I'm thinking about GMS1. But everyone says ZZP or kmo43 or HPT. I need reliability. It's my only car (unfortunately). I am wondering how the tunes run as far as location. If I get a tune sent to me based on mods etc and I'm in FL vs PA vs CO etc. basically asking how much altitude affects it. I have GMS1 sensors ready to go but I don't want to do them till I figure out what I'm doing. Might have to sell because GM doesn't let you use your own parts. I'll make them use the harnesses though.

Here's a different way of looking at it, sure, GMS1 is easy, it'll get you by, its reliable... but where do you go from there?
If you get HPT and have someone remote tune you, then down the road when you start adding stuff (if that is your plan) you can go back to the person that tuned you and say "hey I just added xxxxxxxxx" and they can adjust your tune, either included within your initial tune cost, or for a nominal fee (I know different tuners do it different ways, a friend of mine got tuned and gets so many retunes, after that he has to pay $50 or something like that per)
I've got a GM Stage 2, it came with my car, now I want more... so I'm facing the same thing, because I can't afford to go all out with the car right now, I'll be adding things over time.
I suggest finding a tuner you can work with. I've already talked to KMO43 about my tune, in just a few PMs I'm dead certain that when the time comes he'll be the one to do it.

Do you have a vid of the 113mph run? At least a timeslip? I'm sure we'd all like to see that. When I had my car tuned I had high hopes of 112ish mph on 93 but never happened. I'd like to see what got you there... ty
