How much do you pay to register your cobalt every yr?
How much do ur tabs/tags (registering your car EVERY yr) cost you for your cobalt? Please state the year, model of cobalt and what city/state you are registering the car in.

ive got a 2006 ss/sc and my tabs are 100.75$
57.00 dollars of it is the Sound transit
43.75 is for the actual tabs.
I think its kinda of a load of HORSE CRAP
that the Taxes for the stupid sound transit cost more then my tabs.

Here in Illinois is $78 a year I believe. Also my town charges a few bucks for a village sticker (Chicago and most suburbs do this too) but since they are so lax about enforcement I haven't bought one since the 80s.

$280 for this year. It gets progressively lower each year, until you hit 10 years old, then it's $27 or something. That's in Madison Count, IN
The old ass piece of **** cars on the road with shitty suspensions, that tear up the road cost more than the new ones that don't destroy the roads to plate.... explain that.

the tabs, u know when u register ur car you get 2 stickers for MONTH AND YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!! how much do u pay for the damn stickers!!!!!!!!!!!!

Florida sent me a new tag with a new sticker on it. They have 1 sticker which has both the year and month on it. In Virginia, you can register for 2 years at a time. Virginia is cheap for military, they don't have to pay property tax on auto's. I can register an auto in Virginia for 2 years for only $25. Florida is $26 a year.

Idk bout where your from but here in ct i've never heard of them reffered to as tabs. as far as what it cost i get mine for free. one car for free for veterans in this state. im sure other states have this as well. just gotta pay 10 bucks for the plates. also our stickers go on the inside of the windshield. dont know if thats new to other people but brand new to use. just started this year.

1st year on our 2006 SS/SC was over $500. When we licensed it in the second year it was down to $425.99. Breakdown of cost is: Prior Ownership tax= $96.54, Ownership Tax= $270.30, and License Fee=$59.15. This is in Dacono, Colorado.
