How do I put my back seats forward?
I searched 6 or 7 pages of threads before I finally gave up. I can't find this anywhere in the forums.
I have a 2007 Chevy Cobalt LS and I've lost my owner's manual... so I have no idea how to put my back seats forward to get into the trunk from inside the car. My newspapers have accidentally pushed my seats forward before, so I know that it's possible to do. I just can't find the lever or whatever it is to get it to happen again.
Thanks,
-Aleckor

3 posts with the correct answer all at the same time. If you didn't get the answer the first three times, there are two levers inside your trunk right at the top of the trunk opening that you pull.

Open your trunk, there should be two little plastic pieces that you can pull that are attached to some string that will pop them forward enough so that you can either push them forward through your trunk, or get inside your vehicle and pull on the back of the seats.
Edit: that should work at least the first 5 times... if not, see above! Haha.

Aha! Found it! I had no idea it would be so far back. It's really far back, close to the entrance of the trunk rather than anywhere near the seats. That's probably why I couldn't find it earlier. Thanks guys.

1. Hit yourself in the head for not thinking.
2. Open the glove box.
3. Pull out the owners manual.
4. Read the manual and you will be enlightened. OOO! Oh...
