So today going to try a main wiring harness then from there kinda lost. So far replaced crank sensor/cam sensor/new ecu/wiring to crank sensor. So today after putting in a new main wiring harness for the engine bay well see what happens

it wont crank over? Check the fuses on the inside of your car. it sounds like it could be a bad ignition switch at the key not the place where you put the key but the little tiny box connected to re: the part that's getting the recall

see if you can find some one with a tech 2 and plug that in to your car
Better then just guessing and replacing parts

The new ecu does need to do a relearn to set idle and drivabilty. There is some post on here how to do it.
basically let it warm up then take it for a drive ( not to rough on it no wot ) the park it turn off wait 30 sec start it let it run till the fan cycles. turn of. I think that's it

my fuse box is good we pulled it completely apart and fixed bent pins no wires are showing or anything. Are you saying his whole fuse box was replaced or just the wiring. Also which cam phaser did they replace since there is 2 of them

The dealership thinks they found what it is so this could be some good news...Soon as its fixed gonna give her a gold ol wash and wax and put it up for sale again and get in contact with you

Well i now feel like a complete idiot i was sitting around thinking about what could have caused this then zzp emailed me saying its a highly unlikely chance a cam reluctor might of spun but it would throw a p0016 or p0017 code soon as i saw p0016 it clicked in my head i had that code pop up one time when my hpfp stopped working so now i gotta dig into the cams and see if one of the reluctors spun. Hopefully this is the case and its a easy fix

I had a car today that would not start all the time. Turned out the main ground cable from the transmission to the frame was not anchored well. The nut was hard tight on the stud ( its directly under the headlight assembly on the frame rail) but the eyelet was loose. The stud broke when i tried to remove the nut so I had to make a new ground connection with a riv nut right beside it.
some of the symptoms from a bad ground include: Air bag sensor fault; occasional dash going haywire with power steering notifications on the IP etc.; car wont start; car will start with jumper cables but then wont restart; headlights not on all the time on one side.
and so on. bad grounds are difficult.
also, the conical nut was lost on the battery connector and a 6x1.00 mm plain nut used instead. That wont work; the cone in the oem nut spreads the seat to tighten the battery post clamp.

No the plugs are actually different. However, if you installed the actuators backwards and plugged them in backwards it would physically work (I think the actuators interchange, not 100% sure as far as bolting to the head) but would be way off from a tuning standpoint.
