To own one of those cars and not get a v8 is just a waste of money.

4 banger would be interesting if the car was significantly lighter and set up more for handling and super low end torque. But it won't likely be much if any lighter.
So i raced a fox body in my fully bolted LNF he asked how I beat him so I replied its a fully bolted 2L turbo running 22psi! His reply "But I've got a 5.0!!" Just laughed and beat him in a dig too rub it in more

Yes, they were SVT Mustangs, iirc they had unique (when released) hoods and headlights to easily identify them;
iirc they also made more power than the 5.0L, and were actually an option on top of the Mustang GT.
There is no fail about them.

since the thread is totally derailed at this point I will say that I agree putting a turbo 4 in a mustang is a stupid concept in my opinion...i think they would have much better success if they brought the focus rs to America, those those are beasts.

Well my intercooler should be shipping out today so progress is being made! I'm trying to get my friend soundjunky to buy one too so we can beat up on the LSJs in town

Haha no this was a couple years ago in Kelowna. Right now I'm running a whopping 5psi!! I'd lose to a 3cyl sprint. I did beat that WRX and 350z with the cracked intercooler

Don't know if will be close to the same, but im happy with my Ko4+ from precision, and i know since they did it, it should last a long time. There is a noticeable difference between the k04 and + and that was also enhanced by John ( 09CobaltSS1) who did a good job of tuning it. It pulls well to 6500. Dont forget guys that you will need to tweak your tune to take full advantage of the better airflow.
On the mustangs- just as term 2 was talking about- if you cant get the power to the ground, its a waste to have all the power, unless you just brag. I have a buddy with a built z06, and it is unnerving to get sideways at 80mph. He could get beat by alot of cars in the 1/4 simply because he cant get straightened out till about 90mph.

You guys are all impatient waiting for dyno numbers lol I wanna see them just as bad as anyone else but if you literally can't wait 3 days, why not just buy the turbo and get the dyno results yourself?

Yes it will be around the same power levels as the K04+ wheel is just a tiny bit bigger. I'm really hoping to get the numbers I know it can do but just remember no E85 up here and I'm not running so much meth that if it fails I'm buying new pistons. I would be happy with 360 I totally think that is doable

I hope that you saw the pic of my current intercooler to understand why it is taking a bit. i also live in Canada so shippping takes a week to get over the border. I could have paid $400 shipping to have it overnight but that's more than th IC. For myself it's going to be a min of a week.

Matt didn't tell me who but he had a order today which is great maybe that person can do the dyno but I bet we will at least hear his/hers thoughts
