Regular K-04+ maxes out around 350-360 whp on pump gas and around 380 whp on an aggressive E-47 tune.

Yap yap yap.. there was talk like this with the k04+ until it was dyno proven for a measily 20whp or whatever it was.

But the k04+ is $1200 for 20hp this is only $500 so that's not a bad deal since I spent more on my exhaust and didn't gain 20hp

Its sounds too good to be true, im very interested but I think dyno numbers before and after install would be needed to show gains.

I didn't have a choice my turbo went so it was either a new stock K04 or this and I'm really happy with how it turned out love the power to redline that's all I really wanted from this turbo

Ya i can't do that but my numbers will give an idea of what it can do. You'll just have to guess gains from my results unless somebody else does a before / after

370whp for $500? With a warranty lol. You're an idiot if you don't think that's amazing.

That's my whole point I'm hearing a lot of "I'm waiting for the dyno results" But it's only $500

By the time everyone gets done bragging about the price, Matt might decide to raise it. Hopefully not too much if at all.

That would be pretty sweet. And for $500 bucks I'm starting to really see no downside. Even if I'm not happy with it, I could always sell it as a stock replacement to somebody just looking to buy a k04 and it would be an upgrade for them for the same price as a k04

Why is everyone insisting on a before dyno on stock turbo? Don't we all have a pretty good idea of what numbers a stock turbo lnf can put down with bolt ons?

Different dyno's read differently. We have a good idea, but if its a dynocom for the ko4ftw and a dynojet for the ko4 the difference is going to be greater. Now if the ko4ftw is dyno'd on a dynojet with SAE correction then the correlation can be made

I know there will be differences depending on the dyno but there's a pretty general range that the k04's dyno at (horsepower wise at least). As long as he said what he dynoed on with the k04ftw and maybe showed a log, I'd say that would be a pretty good indicator of it's potential

Anyone know the specs compared to the k04 as far as inducer, exducer diameter, etc. I'm curious but too lazy to search and at work lol.

hopefully he gets dynoed on a dyno jet or dyna pak because the mustang dynos tend to read a little low. ive seen a same car make 401whp on a dynojet and then go on a mustang dyno and make 361whp lol so that will depend also

Ya true also think about it like this you are getting a fully rebuilt turbo to replace your stock one with XX000miles and it flows more too!
