Installed the Powell Air/Oil Separator today

The most difficult parts are getting the hose disconnected from the rocker cover and dealing with the wires connected to the dipstick tube. There's no trick to getting the PCV hose disconnected. You just have to mangle it to remove it. Once that's off, you can use the ridge that the hose snaps on to put a screwdriver on and tap out with a hammer. It didn't take heavy hits to pop it out. With what I know now, you could probably just put a screw driver on it with the hose connected and pop the pipe out that way. I also installed an updated fresh air inlet hose, as recommended by John.

I found it's easier to grab the pvc with a vice grip and hit the vice grip with a hammer lightly. Mine came out undamaged because with vice grip ur pulling straight back as apposed to putting pressure on one side of it at a time with a screw driver

It doesn't stress the connection at the intake hose as much as the braided line does. If you aren't worried about breaking that port on the intake hose, you don't need this updated part.

It's a lot, but it's worth it for clean valves.

Ya it works. And there is more to it than ur typical catch can. Iv had it for over a year and my pipes have had no oil in them since install. Where as before they always had oil in them

I've had mine on since my motor was new so I'm quite curious how well it's working. I need to get a borescope and give everyone an update.
