Hey guys I have taken the plunge and purchased a zfr. What I'm wondering is, does anyone running an auto trans have a zfr?
Obviously tuning will be key but I'm curious how the performance is with that turbo on the auto.

67 until I can find a better trans solution this is where I'll stay. Hoping to figure out how to complete the 4t65 swap from the gm build book.

I would have gone 71 the boost doesn't hit as hard. I dont know the strengths of the auto but being a smoother turbo has helped me save my current trans

I purchased the zfr gently used so the price of the 71 was just not in the cards. I know of a couple people running bigger turbos with power near the 400s who've had no problems and I've seem others that have lasted 40k on stock power. I run a secondary trans cooler and religiously changel my trans fluid so well see what it can take here in the coming weeks.
