My Cobalt ss 09 is running fantastic!

just rebuilt the engine, new clutch, transmission, throwoutbearing, arp heads, pistons , rods, cars on 26 psi boost ramp ! running like a champ ! at 93k miles piston 3 cracked, after many nights of racing and ******* on the streets. I also did new full front suspension, new rear axle, all 4 rims and tires, weight reduction
Ready to go

Mine worked perfectly fine then after a few months the only station i hear stopped working

Arp head studs , antenna ijs alright I have satellite xm anyway,

Stock turbo big wheel by Mikes turbo picked it up off the street for $180

I built the engine went LDK pistons and left stock rods they were perfect.

Ment the wheels are lighter and smaller rim less weight. Cars sitting now in my warehouse put away for one of those nights that the car everyone in town talks about bt never sees come out; )

Gotcha. Yeah, lighter wheels plus reduced moment of inertia do a lot.

The Stock clutch on crateenginedepot.com with slave cylinder and throw out bearing is perfect

1-24239996 Pressure Plate and Disc
6-11570368 Pressure Plate Mounting Bolts
1-24242805 Slave Cylinder-Throw-out Bearing
1-24422067 Slave Cylinder Pipe

Im leaving it stock turbo with big wheel im just going to maximize this setup its very fast. I earlier did a 3rd gear pull, spins from 50 mph to 60.
I did all new front end suspension aswell, car suspension is a like a damn cadillac compared to other vehicles my friends drive lol

I use it for daily driving its perfect in traffic disengaging and engaging.

what size tires are you running now and are those Hoosier drag radials awesome congrats still saving to rebuild mine congrats on yours go rip on it

cause I'm thinking about what tires to run on mine I was thinking all 4 being Dunlop derezza ZR 2 if I spelled that right haha or if I should get some drags for the front awesome thanks enjoy!
