Whats up homies. I was the dude trying to buy all the forged parts and blah blah blah. Well I ended up just buying the Gen 3 full engine off zzp and was trying to figure out what I need. Obviously oil, plugs, anti freeze etc. all the fluids and ****. What else will I need?? I am still a newb so any info or suggestions is appreciated.

im guessing it's a bare longblock so youll need to take off your alternator, accessory belt, starter, wire harness, fuel injectors, fuel rail, engine mount, turbo, turbo lines, high pressure fuel pump... you'll need new fuel injector seals and the tool to install them. 'exninja' on here has the tool loan program. probably get new flywheel bolts as well. clutch alignment tool, or I used a 1/2" drive 9/16" socket. the use of feces however is not required for the swap. but something often associated with feces is kitty litter, which is a good thing to have around for soaking up oil and coolant.

well from the description they say they'll set it up to go into a cobalt and what you'll need to take off of your engine. I just did the swap and have some pictures in the thread I made. you should find all the info you need there on the swap minus the injector seal install and fuel rail install. you might need an intake manifold gasket as well.

I got new intake and exhaust manifold gaskets along with a head gasket because of the build. If just dropping it in, you'll need just intake and exhaust gaskets. If you're taking anything apart for building, you'll need to see which bolts are single use only or TTY (torque to yield) and buy new bolts of those.
You'll also need a new fuel pipe for the HPFP to the rail (which i forgot to get lol)

Alright sweet. Well I'm pretty pumped. I have everything I need. As soon as it gets dropped in I'll get it dyno tuned the same day. I'm hoping for 330+ to the wheels

Mine definitely did. They must've stopped.
I just looked at your build page. They've stripped quite a few things since when I bought mine. Prob part of why it's $500 cheaper than when I bought it (I'd have rather saved the $500). I'm surprised they left the oil cooler

I was wondering the same thing. I know that this one has the turbo included when the 1999 version on ZZP's web site does not. But still, 3,100 shipped, ouch!
I paid 2,200 shipped for mine from Mongo and it included K04 AND Opels. Granted that was a Black Friday deal...
