V8THIS Big Power Solstice build tread.

Hey Guys,
Starting the pieces of a serious power LNF Solstice. The goal is to break 1000HP with an ecotec. I want the rest of the tuner world to see that the ecotec Can hang with the big boys.
the build plan is a sleeved gen3 block, Stage Crazy ported head, big valves, modified GM Performance intake manifold, BW EFR Twin scroll(still deciding on a size), AEM EMS Infinity, trying to put together a Forged LNF stroker Bottom end, with a 90MM bore. Tick Perfrmance Built T56 Transmission, Driveshaft shop Carbon fiber Driveshaft, Im Serious about this build and any Sponsorship Inquirys Will be considered.

just ordered an eagle forged 94.6mm stroke crank for the build, so the plan is to use the 94.6mm crank in an 90mm bore with custom rods to make a fully forged 2.4l LNF. i hate waiting for parts…

Awesome. 1000hp+ has been done with an ecotec, but that doesn't matter. This is f'kin crazy.

OP good luck! Hope you've got ALOT of expendable cash for this. What are your plans for the fuel system? What 90mm pistons are you using? Also I was unaware that the AEM had the proper injector drivers for DI injectors.

edit: Looks like you'll need the 9180, the largest EFR if you honestly plan for 1000

Good luck man, you can do it if you stick to it. And have lots of money.

I've been in a few 1000+ hp cars and know that I'd never own one, ever. It literally scares the sh*t out of me. More power to you if you can handle that craziness.

500 whp is the sweet spot for me depending on the car. 500 awhp is my favorite.

Badass build? Definitely
Gonna get 1000 horses out of it? Not with the lnf

Did you see what GM had to do to get quadruple digit power numbers out of their ecotec dragsters back in the day?

Wasn't there another sky or solstice that did a similar build a while back on here reaching for 1000hp?

Thanks for all the comments, i understand this has not been done before, and lipsticks car is pretty bad ass but its still not operational, his is a 2.0 still and i want a more practical powerband so im doing this stroker setup, i have not worked out all the details yet but im not going to give up, just because it hasnt been done before doesnt mean it cant be done, isnt that why we build cars? for fuel im definately using some kind of compound fuel injection, i plan to stack all the DI fuel injection mods that are available, and try some more of my own, but the direct injection system is far from maxed their are plenty of other big power direct injected engines out their, i just need to break out of the mold.
