What makes this engine good, what needs improvement, and what are some of the mods that can put this engine in the 13’s?

Redline and SS guys, what is your experience with the LSJ?

From what I hear people are already hittin 13s w/just homemade intakes and generic mufflers! Imagine what could be possible w/ an designed and tested aftermarket intake system from intake to TB to manifold, a boost pulley and header back exhaust!

and 13's redlines drivers are barily hitting 14's majority of them are in the 15's. not dissing but its true. probably 4 - 5 owners have hit 14's all others are 15-16 range. i know its the driver but i just find it hard to believe

imo what it will take to hit 13's will be, CAI, after market header, definatly the LSD. if the SCDYNE header gives the car 25+whp then that should be enough to get the ss into the 13's. possibly just an intake with a good tune will let it hit 13's.
