Difference Between Pacesetter 2.2 and 2.0
Are there any differeces from the header pacesetter makes for the 2.2 and the 2.0? The reason why i'm asking this is because my brother has a pacesetter header for his 2.2 just laying around and will probably never have it put on, and I was thinking maybe I can put it on mine? I'm guessing the collector size will be different though, meaning not as big as the header for the 2.0 right? But it should bolt up

Nothing as far as I know.
All cobalt headers are "universal" as they fit all models. Each ECOTEC motor has the EXACT same bolt pattern/port size on the exhaust side.

But the collector might be different being it's for a 2.2. I don't think it will be a 1 3/8 collector on the 2.2 header. I'm probably just goign to buy the 2.0 pacesetter header

all wrong ....
The 2.0 and 2.2 header are diff in a few ways. First off the collector on the 2.0 version is 3" compared to the 2 1/2 on the 2.2 version, and the 2.0 runners are much larger in diamiter. Both headers are the same design, but the 2.0 header has bigger everything .
Incase anyone wants to call BS, I have had both on my car and both headers side by side.
