Very good summary write-up, thank you. I would also like to add a comment about the supercharger pulley size limitations vs altitude. You can typically go 0.1 inch diameter smaller than suggested in post # 1 for each 1000 feet of altitude because of the lower density of air. This without the need for larger fuel injectors. The only thing to remember about is if you plan to run a smaller pulley because your hometown location is of a higher altitude, be prudent if you do a trip to a much lower altitude or if you move permanently to a lower altitude city, in this case you will need a bigger pulley unless you are willing to upgrade to bigger fuel injectors (and other supporting mods) as necessary.

If you plan to go turbo as route #4 recommends, here is a good write-up:

Looking at Route 3, is the ZZP stage 3 kit a good substitute for the 60 lb injectors, 2.8 pulley, and heat exchanger? It comes with 50# injectors, options for pulley size, probably gonna run the 2.8, and a zzp heat exchanger.

So I finally got all the little quirks sorted out in my car. I would like to start upgrading performance in my 06 SS/SC. First off I am going to get the FE5 strut/shock/Pedders springs kit.

After that, I want to get a cat-back exhaust. MA is really picky about failing inspections for exhausts being "too loud". I failed last year for my Accord's Thermal R&D cat-back being too loud even though it wasn't that bad. Because of this I want to get the GMPP cat-back installed so I can tell the inspection shop to kick rocks if they give me any problems. Is it a 2.5" or 3" system? Eventually I would like to get a ZZP downpipe and headers to go with it.

After that I want to get another CAI. If you guys remember me, the Injen intake that came with the car kept giving me CELs, so I brought it back to stock. I want to get the ZZP intake installed. However, I might just get it installed when I get a GM or ZZP Stage Kit so I can avoid any CEL with the ECU reflash.

So does GMPP cat-back --> ZZP downpipe/headers --> ZZP intake/GMPP or ZZP stage kit sound like a good upgrade path?

EDIT:
Just did a little more research and see that the GMPP exhaust is 2.25". Will the ZZP 2.5" downpipe not bolt up to it?

I'm just kinda getting into modding my car and feel so lost..I have 42 lb injectors stage two super headers exhaust 3"from cat back torque damper and a tune...now I just ordered from Zzp 60lb injectors ls4 throttle body.should that make any difference in HP? Also Zzp offers a pcm for that set up would that basically be a plug and play?

It should be. The tune that is. *IF* you send them your PCM FIRST. That way they can tune it and return you the same PCM. Otherwise you have to do a relearn. Also if you have HPT and they email you the tune, it's plug and play.
When I got my PCM back from ZZP I was on the road withen 45 minutes. That's counting the time to open the box.

Also consider some cooling mods and maybe a < 3.3" Pulley

So I am just a little curious. What kind of cooling is required for a 2.7 pulley, Euthenasia port n polished head, zzp lth/catted dp/2.5 ZZP catback, zzp cai 1000cc injectors. I have a GM dual pass and the zzp stg3 h/e. Would that little bit suffice ill also be on e85. Thought about grabbing the phenolic spacer or the new stealth h/e

You don't need those injectors with that set up
