Here you see the line coming from the tank right into the radiator tiebar thing

Here you see it coming out by the dipstick handle

Heres that same hose connected to the 90 degree hose that shoots straight down to the Y

Heres (looking from drivers side) the dual pass. You see how the lines turn down. They go into the other branch on the y. The trunk of the y is the u hose that hits the pump.

Here's my dual pass plumbing (as per GMR instructions)....

Note: The T-fitting is facing up in this photo, because I didn't fill the system with coolant yet.

Riceburner: I like how you ran the upper hose through the front like that. Nice work.

mine looks exactly like yours currently, but im redoing mine to to reduce the height of the tee you have disconnected and minimize fittings/clamps as required

Yall would laugh ur ass of at how my opt be works currently, im waiting to get the opt b bung welded on for the bleed line but i have the extra tank already hooked up. So to bleed air i just loosen the cap on the stealth h/e till it starts shaking from the air rushing out and then tighten it back down. Its temp fix till i get to someone that can weld.

Man this makes me think I should redo mine. It looks like the pic stage07ss posted. My feed line from the option b tank also goes over the rad hose and into the top of the T thats there. I guess using some actual 90 degree hoses would make things better and cleaner, along with Y's instead of T's. Oh well. Its working so whatever (coolant level keeps dropping as it bleeds...no, there aren't leaks lol)

Naw i have the zzp stealth h/e, I was gonna get the opt b bung welded on yesterday but spent most the day fighting with the fuel filter and then spent time with the wife's mom it was her birthday so Im try to get it added next week, till then this works when I pop the top to let the air leak out the fluid from the extra tank takes the place of the air.

the only really complete kit is mine, and yes, Y 's are included. Its a 150.00 kit, comes with more parts than any competing kit. But at the end of the day, folks will want to pay less. It makes sense that its the best, we were the first to develop Option B building race Cobalt's for GM in 2004 on. Pay less, go without.

Powell I like u but honestly stop patting urself on the back before u end up with a spinal cord injury, u have told us this everytime a opt b thread gets posted.

But on a serious note since u made this for gm why do they not use the Y in their kit? Last i checked gm was using a T also.

You're correct. They use a T-fitting, and there is nothing wrong with it at all.

The Y-fitting everyone is starting to talk about is not going to make or break the system.

ok guys did my ottp h.e and opt b yesterday .... i was filling the system and then it started to stop going in (figured it was full) so i put the tank on an connect the lines, here are pics:

this is the hose running from the opt b tank to the "t" fitting, y is there an air pocket here?

This is a pic of the "t" connection:

any input would be great... this morning temps were about 53* crusing i was at about 80* WOT wen up to 95* for a quick pull then took a few sec for it to drop back down to 80* isnt that a little high ??

Im on the stock pulley.

if yours comes with better hoses than the other kits i would have gotten yours off the bat but its easier to buy off zzp than your page (but gloria is really nice and helpful!)

Can you give me a link to where I can purchase that kit? I've been trying to go on your website for a while but I can't seem to find anything on there.
