P0069 with stage 2 kit
hi guys,
we have an 06 SS/SC and i am getting a P0069 code, nothing else. the car has a GM stage 2 kit. it was this way when we bought the car. would we get this code if the PO didnt get a tune done? or could the PCM reset? the only other issue is a bouncy idle and surge at stop signs, after cleaning the throttle body.
thanks

no that code wouldnt set if the tune wasnt done, not having the tune done would cause rich fuel system codes and would be running extremly rich. id try and find the diagnostic flow chart for that code, should be able to find it online.
as for the bouncy idle, you may have damaged the throttle body when you cleaned it.

thanks Sharkey
cant seem to find a diagnostic flow chart anywhere, or at least anywhere i can access without having a paid account.
the car runs much better when it is warmed up, the idle settles down after a few minutes. would that still indicate a damaged TB? seems like its searching for the right spot to idle and it just takes a few cycles to get there.
