I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but I work at Advance Auto in New Jersey and we stock the AC Delco filters.

We also stock the oil filter socket too!

FYI, Walmart now sells their Super Tech brand filter for the Cobalts. They also have the Fram. I compared the Super Tech to the Fram, and it was the EXACT same filter... My guess is they are made by someone like WIX or something. The Super Tech also included a new o-ring for the filter cap. The Super Tech was around $5.50 where I got mine. Naturally I tried the Super Tech...

but I'm down with putting OEM in this car, so, AC DELCO it is

Wix is a good filter, but don't pay more than you have to. The Auto Value Parts Stores (also known as Advantage, Bumper to Bumper, and Henderson) have them packaged as the Parts Master brand for less money. Plus, they come with new o-rings with each filter.
