Tvs 1900....ottp stg5?

These are pictures of one of the first units we have received.

And now some details.

Designed to be a bolt on but a few mods will be required. The end plate will need to be blocked off as this unit is internally bypassed. Pictures of mods will follow when I bolt one on.

Price is $2750 plus shipping. The includes what you see in the pictures and 4 mounting bolts not pictured.

Will fit stock and LS4 throttle bodies, for an extra cost there will be a option to run a 90mm ls3 throttle body.

550 whp capable. Supporting modifications will be needed. A 3" intake will only work up to 400 whp at most. We make a 3.5" intake for high horsepower cars and if someone wants to really push it and run a 90mm I would suggest a 4". We also will be offering 1.875" and 2" primary headers along with 3" and 3.5" downpipes for the big builds.

Looks cool. I see you selling maybe 5 max. Why? Cuz nobody with money to support that blower is in the cobalt community anymore. Atleast, if they are they're turbo already. Not trying to be negative, just sad this didn't hit in 2010 when the newest lsj wasn't that old. Now the newest lsj is over 7 years old. That much blower, I'm concerned at how much it takes to spin it, and how much **** breaks inside the motor?!

It's not for a stock car at all. It is more efficient than the TVS 1320 though.

Well, ported head and bigger valves, cams, beef up the whole train actually.. ARP timing set, Griffen heat exchanger, 3.5" or 4" intake with 1.875" header, 4" exhaust. 10:1 pistons and H beam rods.. THAT would make some power. Annnnnnnd sound like a Honda civic.. jussayin. Plus of course E85 as a MUST HAVE or a strong Meth system.

This is awesome and something I've always wanted to see. Of course you won't be able to run this on a stock block because psi will be way to high. I hope someone runs this soon that has a well built motor to see what the potential this blower has for us and real world street driving.

Infraredline??? Isn't that his name? Dudes got a decent built motor if I'm thinking of the right guy. And he's TVS already. If I remember correctly. My memory is ****. So, if OTTP takes some $$ off for him to trade his used unit in for the big boy 1900, I'd nominate him as our guinea pig ;-)

100%METH ran one on a stock bottom end. It's been a while but I think he was running something like a 3.4" pulley and making around 25psi. But he will probably chime in and confirm.

Infraredline has a ZZP 2.1 motor with a 259et making around 600whp. Used to have a solid stock bottom end TVS set up. Not the guy you are thinking of. Japeatr is the only one I can think that you are thinking of but he's going turbo also.

There's a couple of people still in the tvs game that can make use of this. Tjolly, Mr. B, and Tstone are a few with decent set-ups that could probably really turn this thing

hot rod made 372bhp on a stock block lsj with tvs1900 and a 3.6 pulley getting 23lbs boost pushing 24degrees timing using 100 octane gas reving to 7100

http://www.hotrod.com/techarticles/e...s/viewall.html

There are a few suspect things in this article like cooling mods, tuning, cam choice that lead me to believe that a built motor car could make a lot more than 372 at the crank. I gues they did what they could but it was far from an optimized setup.

Josh,

you stated that the end plate will need to be blocked off, is that something that the buyer will have to figure out on their own or will you be providing a blocked off end plate with the kit ?

Also, what size pulley will be included with this setup and what is it capable of putting down with basic mods on the included pulley?

Thanks

I know this will be running really hot without cooling mods without a doubt.
