MY recommendation would be to just get Stage 2 and you can go to the dealer they will reflash the pcm

I was just thinking to go the easy route just swap injecters and pcm flash not looking for mega power gains just a little extra and not mess with the sc pulley.

My knowledge on the LSJ is kinda limited, but from my understanding, buying just the injectors and doing tuning is possible but from what it looks like, it will cost more doing that over just buying the stage kit. Also tuning can be done by ZZP or it can be remote tuned by one of many tuners around. ZZP tuning is basically the cheapest option. From my experience with them on my LNF, their tune will run just fine, but its always best to data log and retune and make any adjustments that need to be done, this can be done with HPT and will also cost between 150 and 300 depending on who you using to tune.

Stage 2 Kit
Ecotec Parts ZZP Stage 2 Kit

Injectors Only (You will need to buy the harness aswell)
Ecotec Parts Siemens 60# Injectors (4)

Injector Harness
Ecotec Parts LSJ Injector Harness

ECU Tuning
Ecotec Parts ZZP 1.0 LSJ PCM

There was another thread that mentions stage one is just injecters and a pcm reflash and it pulls 30hp and 5 foot pounds of torque just figured it was worth a shot my last 06 ss sc was left stock and it was enough for me just figure a simple injecter swap and reflash would be simple enough i dont really know much about tuning im good and diagnosis and parts hanging.

Get the ZZP "stage 2" kit and ecu.

It'll make your car about as quick as a tc.

Read up on it. We have over a decade of information here. Google cobaltss.net along with what you're looking for. It works better than the sites search.

And the tune is fine. Friend has been running it for years. It's just a little rich to be safe.

Ok last question should i go with the oversized tenstioner the gm stage 2 belt or the adjustable tensioner i dont see stepping any higher than a stage two so the more options i pick from zzp the higher the kit price is gona get.

I tried going the shorter belt route and long story short I ended up getting the adjustable tensioner. It's the most expensive option but the car should have came with a similar setup from the factory. Trying to use the little nub on the stock tensioner sucks.

Another probly dumb question i looked at ottp stage three step kit for lsj seems like a good value why dont they offer stage 2 anymore its only stg 3 and 4 but i like that the stg 3 comes with a heat exchanger and are the ottp injectors better than the siemans offord by zzp i read the siemans injectors have a cone shaped spray where as a split cone pattern is more efficient like the bosch injectors mentioned in another post.

I use a 15mm wrench and a like 2ft piece of pipe on it to put my weight on it to push it down and back. Works mint. Using just the wrench is a waste of time and a knuckle-buster lol
