I replaced my stock filter at 12000 miles. I had to go to the dealer to get an AC Delco filter cause at the time no body else made one and none of the parts stores carried them. Cost me 15 bucks. If you look in the owners manual I think it says to change the filter every 12k miles, Aftermarket CAI or K&N drop in the filters don't have to be replaced just cleaned.

Well, I was not able to find the K&N filter in town at any automotive store. But, you can buy one from K&N directly, it ran me about $40 I think, its a great drop in.

Do you guys notice any power and mileage gains after putting a K&N drop in filter?

Power, I doubt it....but when I first dropped it in, it felt a bit more responsive.

Milage, Yet again....I don't have any numbers but I don't notice a difference.
