Get a hold of the GM Ecotec build books. Both the 2.2 and 2.0 versions. That will help. They have complete parts lists in them of the stock engines, which you can use to then kit bash them together.

^ the '08 was cracked recently by trifecta. any kit that fits the other 2.2l will bolt to yours

Everybody has "turbos" that fit all Cobalts. The question is, do they have a complete system in a box. No they don't.

The build book does in fact have a complete parts list, but as I said, it's for the J-body cars. You will have to make a few small changes, specifically with the throttle. Yes, it's pretty much the same as the SS. Just go download them (they are free) and read them. There are separate books for the 2.0 and 2.2, but get them both and do some reading.

The AEM F/IC works. However, it will work better if you first have Trifecta tune the car to play nicely with it.

Stock bore is fine but you want a lower compression for a turbo setup so go with 8.9:1 Wiesco pistons are good.

i got a 2007 cobalt 2.2l ls and i got the Garrett Turbo GT Alpha Turbo Kit and the hahns 3in exhaust from the turbo back and also a exedy stage 2 clutch. I read that the ecm changed from 2006 to 2007 and my dumba** already bought it all. now the turbo kit i got came with the SCT flash. So the question is with will work if i use it and can my engine hold up to that turbo
