1LOWLS L61 Forged SC build!!!

Well timing chain tensioner took a **** and the intake cam jumped some teeth.Exhaust valves stayed in check though.Going to for ge the bottom end and do an extensive port job on the head/blower.Recommendations on valve springs? here's some shitty quality pix.

Thanks and yeah I have been checking out both ZZP and TTR.Probably going with TTR valvetrain as a turbo 2.2 here is running the springs and retainers and is working well.I have more research to do for the bottom end.Probably a Wiseco/Eagle combo. We will see though.I will keep this thread updated.

TTR matches pricing i think on piston/rods. They have Eagle rods and wiseco pistons.

Make it bulletproof!

Mongorat also has some LNF heads he is willing to part out, their valves are a significant upgrade.

My heads fine.Just gotta replace the intake valves.but i'll end up replacing all the valves and springs. We'll see what happens though.I'm getting the valve spring compressor for it Tuesday so I can pull the head apart next.Until then it sits.

Mongorat that is an 07-08 head. It has the cam sensor on the intake side of the head no other years had that.

Just a heads up if you decide to go with the supertech springs and retainers, it will require custom work to head and seats to work on an 07 2.2 head. If you send the stuff with your head when you get it p & p'd, it shouldn't be a problem for them to take care of.

I keep looking at it and it looks like a LE5/LAP head.

Definitely different, mogorats has two square holes inbetween 1-2 and 3-4 and two small round holes inbetween 2-3. Lowls has two rectangular holes between 1-2 and 3-4 and one bigger rectangle between 2-3.
