So I've been trying to do my own research on this subject, and I have gotten nowhere... Everyone says something different :p

Basically I'm wondering what it would take to install the 2.4 intake manifold and throttle body on my 2006 L61.

There is always talk of 6 pin and 8 pin throttle bodies, spacers, and tuning, and everyone says something different. Other people are talking about different years too, and I am not sure what difference this makes. Would someone be so kind as to simplify this process for me? I understand its an easy install though.

You would need a relearn on the throttle body. I have a 6-8pin adapter that I don't use though

OK, I have also read that certain years of 2.4 litre has the same number of pins as the 2.2... and what do you mean by throttle re-learn?

2.4 manifold is a straightforward swap, and you can use your current throttle body if you don't want to have to tune/relearn. I did the 2.4 manifold swap and it made a decent difference on my L61. Intake manifold swap and downpipe upgrade will net you about the most gains outside of a tune.
