When i check my oil it has a milky color?

When i check my oil it has a milky color?

any help?
seems like moisture is getting in and making my oil look like regular oil with a coat of a milky look?

milky sounds like coolant got in there somehow...

hmm so that could mean head gasket is going..
car runs good and everything

4000k changing it next week
there isnt always a milky look on it
seems like it could just be moisture

oh snap bro. just reminded me of something i saw at the track.

late 80's chrysler v8 is in the pre-staging line for the track, i see some smoke kinda creep out then a puddle of boiling milkshake leaking out of his ride. after getting an attendants attention they had the guy take his car away but damn was definitely coolant and oil mix, and boiling like a bitch even after 5 minutes!

yeah but its hard to say because sometimes its there and most times its not
you pull the dip stick out it has a small trace on it then wipe it off and put back in and check and its clean
when i drain my oil its all clean..

considering your description, the scope in which you cannot see any visible traces in the drained oil and yet only a lil bit on your dip stick on occasion......don't worry about it.

and make sure when u put your dipstick back in that you actually push it in enough to seal by the handle. you can tell when it "seals" as you slide it back in.

almost sounds like the very top isn't being sealed, you get condensation, and it works around the seal.

yeah like i don't see big signs towards blown head gasket
i have fixed 3 head gaskets and i know what to expect so doesnt seem to be that

doesnt sound that bad, my dipstick always has rust on it.
