You ask why you cant use a supercharged cold air intake on a 2.2 cobalt? lets see. on a Supercharged cobalt the intake runs under the driver side headlight where as on a 2.2 it runs under the passanger.
also.
on a 2.2 cobalt your windshield wiper res is under ur driver headlight.
just spend the money and do a 2.2 intake and do it right man. dont half ass your car. it will just cause problems later.

why do all kids with 2.2 know nothing and why do they think an intake will help there slow ass cars. i have a 2.2 its slow as hell, it wont ever be fast, your wasting your time and money. IMO you shouldnt touch a 2.2 unless its like mine with the sport body package and even then im only doing exterior mods.

Haha, arrogant *******. Unless its like mine.....Intakes do other things than power gains, they help gas mileage as well. And i must say, my 2.2l is pretty quick along with alot of other people on this site. By the way if your such a baller with your "exterior" mods buy yourself something other than a base model cobalt.

Maybe I came off to harsh, but i CANNOT stand it when people bash other peoples cars or members because of 1) Lack of knowledge, or 2) Ones personal opinions. The OP is obviously new to the car world and that's why he came here, not to get flamed. Why don't we try not to be ******** and answer the mans question. That's all it had to be. To the OP, The search button can be useful to search many basic questions such as the one you had. If you cannot find anything then go ahead and ask. Good luck with your car.

It was answered at least once in each of the 7 or 8 threads he started. We told him it wouldn't work, so he started a bunch more threads trying to get a different answer. That's why I personally was an *******.
