Camshaft Timing error and TC hard shifting

Camshaft Timing error and TC hard shifting
Ok this is the problem i've been having with my car :/ any help would be awesome !!
The car has been running really weak and also stutters while idling.
The check engine light has been going on and off. I took it to advance auto parts and the error code came back as a camshaft timing problem.
Also along with the check engine light the traction control light has been going on and off. When this happens the car will shift REALLY HARD. Knocking while shifting. It only shifts roughly when the TC light is on. I took it to advance to get the code but he turned the car off and back on and wasn’t able to get what it said.
Both lights come on randomly.
Camshaft actuator solenoid ?
Any Idea's
I got an appointment with the dealer on Thursday but if the error's aren't on there they may not know what to do :/
