can anyone tell me what this is please?
can someone shed some light on what this does and how does this affect me when i want to super charge my 2.4?

part of the pcv system or whatever its called. Just put a valve cover breather there or put a longer hose to the supercharged intake if it has a spot for it in the tubing.

Just the breather port for the crankcase, like sandman said, you can just put a breather filter over it.
