There is your Cruze with 2.0t lol
Even the current have the 2.0t only thing is the angry tail lights lol
Hoping the hatchback comes to the US. Then I'll get one, if not I'll get the sedan with the LTG engine. Still debating between LTG or LHU models.

Well look at what Mazda did with the new 2017 Speed3. They killed it once they found out that nobody would buy it do to the target buyers not being able to afford it. Maybe Chevy feels the same way about building a Cruze SS.

The Cruze SS is not gonna happen. Give up people.

It's not a very sporty car to begin with and rather fugly if you ask me.

Looks good, I wonder if they will make a sport model to compete with the Focus.

Yup. That's like paying 65k for the Genesis, but in the end it's still a Hyundai.

I agree. Chevy should have done a better job with the cobalt ss when it first came out. Maybe they left a bad taste in the mouth of early 20 some things who are now in their late 20s and early 30s who would be able to afford the cruze ss but would not be interested in another chevy. Look at old threads and you'll see why not many people stuck around; cars that were stalling with the ac on, dip sticks popping out, oem thermostats that fail around 50k, steering column rattles, intercooler pumps wired backwards from the factory, never ending premature clunking, moonroof buttons falling off, water on passenger floor, roll pins made of glass,........The list goes on.

No. Not really.

Even most entry level cars have way way more tech than cars from 10 years ago.

Emission and safety standards are getting stricter so the cost gets pushed down to the buyers.

Inflation makes a difference.

The economy is better.

People just expect more from a car today than the did even 10 years ago.

EDIT - Average prices are actually on the downward trend. http://wgntv.com/2016/04/25/the-aver...you-were-born/
