Test Drove a Cruze
Test drove 2011 LT2 1.4l Turbo
Exterior: I love the looks of this car, sharp, current and great bodylines. Lots of trunk space with a hole big enough to put stuff threw unlike the cobalt lol. under hood is very clean. Engine looks so tiny lol. Also other thing i didn't like is that it has drums in the rear still.
Interior: Years ahead of the cobalt, quality is there. The leather seats i wasn't to found of tho. the interior door panels still felt "cheap" to me. Like they looks good but you touch and still got that plastic feel. steering wheel has great feel. I love how the cluster is, still have your DIC and few more things.
Test drive: Interior is very quite, zero rattles. I honeslty can compare the ride quality to the 2010 cts i test drove. Supension feels very firm and responsive. i wasn't a fan of how the power steering felt just felt ok to me. The 1.4 does have more ***** then i expected so it put a smirk on my face when i punched it. And at WOT the interior is still rather quite. Braking is very smooth and not to sensitive (in a good way)
Overall: I think this a great car for GM to be selling, i like it but am not sure if its something i'd want to own myself, if gm does the z-spec concept from sema. Am sure i will be sold. Til then its still between a cruze or a cts as a next car when the cobalt is paided off, so time will tell.
Not sure sure what else to add but ask if you like to know anything.

Did you know the turbo ones only come in a auto tranny. and the non turbo dose not have a sunroof lol. the options are limited(factory wise) thats what i dont like. Like if i want a manual tranny I can not have a sunroof or turbo. If I want a sunroof I half to pay the extra to get a turbo as well and im stuck with a auto tranny. Or If a want a turbo i still get rear drum breaks just like the non turbo. Must be why its a LT2 or whatever and not a SS
