Took Her to The Track Last Night!!!
Pretty disapointed. I'm use to fast cars tho so this may be why. I have Injen CAI, ZZP o2 housing, ZZP mid pipe, and just a regular trifecta tune. Vince said there is room for some more power, but how much is the question. I am currently running 168HP and 202 ft/lb's of torque.
1st run: 16.06
2nd run: 16.01
3rd run: 15.91
Slept on first pull, the next two 435 was best R/T.
2012 Cruze's Trifecta tune so far has no sport tune, so I hope to shave at least 1 full second off with a sport tune. We'll see, it's in Vince's hands now!!! I will post pics of the time slips when I get a chance as well as video!

you need to cut down on the reaction time that will help out some last time i went to the track a racer taught me a trick when the last yellow light lights up hit the gas my time before were 16.3 and reaction of .8 and .4 and after that it was 16.3 and reaction time of .1
I'm 26 and been racing since I was 16....It's not me, its the car. For what it's worth, it IS an economy car, it really isn't designed to go fast, so until there is a turbo upgrade it isn't going to be that fast.

I did leave on the 3rd yellow, I know the same trick just takes that much longer to go. I even brake boosted it!!!! It falls on its face top end, I'd say after 70mph because the turbo runs out of breath

First of all, it has 168hp(not like it matters, you just can't read), second, its 3200, and third, I dumped $2000 into performance parts on the car, I expected faster. THIS is why I am upset with the 1/4 mile times. Don't be a douche. I had n desire into making it a race car once again, I was just curious as to what it could do in the 1/4. Clearly you need to dump more money into the damn thing to make it respectively faster, which I am not going to do. YOU really need to learn how to read man

I know its gotta feel good to be like yeah I took a slow car and made it fast but doing so can get expensive quickly. But if you wanted something faster and a family car why didn't you start with a faster one?
Nothing about that car is made for speed.

Jeez! For a stock, 3400#, econo box with an engine the same size as a Harley Davidson (85 ci) I'd say those are some very respectable ET's. I doubt a dressed (900#) HD would do much better. Personally, I'm going to leave my 2012 LTZ, nav and Pioneer, pure stock and live with comfort. I think I've lived long enough and well enough to deserve it. Only problem I see now is I have to change my sig and find a good Cruze forum.
And for what it's worth I still have the charge pipes, cold air intake and down pipe in my sig, for sale.

Second, how do you know how much HP it makes? Did you dyno it? Or are you going off of the numbers ZZP made on THEIR car? Just because two cars have the same parts, does not mean they will make the same horsepower. Stop getting so upset and being so defensive and sensitive about your cruze, no one is attacking you. Don't be upset about that money you spent now. It isn't coming back, and if you thought you were gunna get more out of it, well, you thought way wrong.
Just remember. A Honda Civic Si runs mid-low 15s, maybe into the 14's, but that has almost 200 crank hp and the car is lighter.
