3. WHO THE **** pays 565 for a tune? u must be retarded
Just so you know dyno tunes which are the best tunes to get period are more expensive than that.
4. why would u count labor when u did it for free? lol because most people, possibly you as well, pay to have parts installed

This thread went the wrong way.
Personally I feel bad for the OP. I learned on my base model Cobalt that this rough lesson of no power without gobs of money. Especially on a car that costs more than a barely used Cobalt SS/TC
I think I spent 1500 for 150 total whp. **** that, never doing it again.
We want to see you in the 14s. It's possible bit it will take work.
Drag radials, weight reduction and a more aggressive tune will put you in the low 15's. Not sure what will get you there.

07ss lets hope u can get a nice day to go to the track hopefully before it rains ! When me and my buddy went to zzp they showed us the stuff they were working on for the cruze it was pretty cool ! An we drove 9 hours since we live in wisconsin we left at 1am just so we could get there right as they open so we can see the stuff they had been working on lol.
Anyway spend the money u earn how u want to dont worrie what others say im going to keep checking ur thread to see ur improvements. And not flaming or **** like that but a cobalt non ss or ss model is an econo car as well. good gas miliage when u drive nice and well comes to life when u beat it like a monster.

You are cutting 2.2 60 foots and expect to run faster then that? with a good 60 ft like 1.9or a 1.8 it will probably cut a mid to low 15.P.S. you come off as a real douche. you can't count personal labor to the the value of an install. you also think the 2hrs worth of book labor you did is worth 200 an hour. you also shouldnt pretend you are a pro dragster when you do not know that reaction time doesnt effect et. its when the vehicle leaves the beam the clock starts. thats why when you see big hp cars staging and the lights green they still run 8s and 9s not 12s.

* insert face into hands * Can we just keep the comments positive for this guy, who cares what he did with book work or labor its about getting better not being judged.

Too bad RT's don't effect your time. You could sit there for a minute, and still run the same time.
Only time you really need a good RT is when you are doing bracket racing and need to catch the other car to keep in your dial-in time.

NO SH*T. Did I say RT's affect ET's? No...I've done a lot of bracket racing, that's where my comment was intended. My bad. I though I clearly implied that he's about .500 late and the 50HP would help make up for that in a race against someone to make up the distance.

Most people on here are never going to bracket race, and have no idea how it works.
