Traded her in for a CRUZE.
Well guys, I finally gathered the nerve to do it. I traded her in for a brand new 2012 Chevy Cruze ECO.
This car is amazing and could easily out run my old car if it was involved in a race where time wasnt a factor and only distance mattered.
I got $15,500 for the trade in and the cost of the car was $20,000. Ended up with a 66 month loan which I didnt really care for at 4.79% financing. Monthly payments are $286/ month with lifetime oil changes.
Had negative equity of $11,100 to pay off the old car :/
Here is the pic!

Well, I personally would have waited until the car was paid off before getting a new loan. If your turbo was blown, $1500 for a new turbo is a lot cheaper than $25000
That said, I'm speaking out of my ass, because I don't know what I'm talking about, so the truth is, I am sad to see you go, but happy for ya.

I doubt it, I think he really did trade. He stated he's broke, and if he can get a new car with way less miles without paying anything up front and keeping his payments about what they are now. Then I'm sure he did
It really depends on what you want. If you want fuel economy, ride comfort, and quality then no it's a leap forward, but if you're looking for performance, well of course. Remember speed isn't everything for everyone!

Woah woah woah guys! I did trade in A car, not the cobalt lol. The gf had a 2011 Sentra SER SpecV. She kept complaining about buying premium gas and 31 mpg was not enough for her 100 mi round trip from work everyday.
We got the Sentra for 19,500 fully loaded January of 2011. Low interest rate of 1.99%. and her payments were $277 on it. She had the spec V packed which had the 12 speaker Rockford Fosgate setup, review back up camera, Navigation, and sunroof.
I put down $1500 and her old car traded for like $3500. The loan she had then was $16,200 for 5 years. Too me this was still backwards and I had a hard time making the final decision to go with it and pay an additional $9 a month on less of a car but I wanted to have a Cruze too lol. Plus we didnt have to spend the $1200 to register and title the damn sentra in DE since we moved.
