So if you owed $11,100 left on your loan, you only had around $4000 down. Plus dealer fees etc. So you only put about $2800 down and financed a little more than $20k and by the end of 66 months, you'd have paid at least $25000
Well, I personally would have waited until the car was paid off before getting a new loan. If your turbo was blown, $1500 for a new turbo is a lot cheaper than $25000
That said, I'm speaking out of my ass, because I don't know what I'm talking about, so the truth is, I am sad to see you go, but happy for ya.

I would have rather have gotten the 1LT since everything is exactly the same and switched the wheels for the forge light weight ones later (thats where the gas mileage is coming from).
The loan is for like 16,400? or 16,700. dont remember.

If I could afford it, I totally would trade in my cobalt for an eco cruze. Girlfriend has the discontinued black color Eco with fog lights and a 6 speed manual and the 2 tone red and black interior.. Sweet as hell.

Girlfriend has a Black Cruze Eco with the 6 speed manual....
Fun to drive, comfortable, AMAZING gas mileage and looks and feels nicer...
The ONLY downside is it's a four door and I don't like four doors...
But otherwise, the engine is plenty for what it is. Consistently hitting 40s for average mpg is also very nice..
If I could afford one, I would get one in a heart beat.. Makes my Cobalt look like a piece of ****...

Congratulations 06SS ALL DAY! I'm sure you'll be sorry to see your Cobalt go, but if you have any questions on the Cruze, I'm here to help.

I want a Cruze too, I'm trying to convince my girlfriend to get one. She won't though, she wants a SUV. Why is it all the girls in my life want big vehicles and all the dudes I know want small cars? Seems weird but maybe I'm just weird.

Well that depends. My '06 ss/sc has the same # of miles and i went to a dealership a while back to check on an evo mr edition i saw from the road, and they offered me $8000 for the balt. Ultimately said no though cuz my evo was an '06 selling for the price of a brand new evo lol
