How to really detail a car
How to really detail a car
This is worth the read. If you really want to know how to detail a car and get a professional finish, take notes, I know I learned a thing or two...or three haha:

I haven't done that. My detail is already posted where it was my first attempt at machine detail. I'm in no way as good as that, nor do I say to be. I just put it on here because I thought we could all learn and benefit from it.
Thats about normal for me when detailing an older Vette at work. I can spend 6 - 8 days on a car without a problem. Thats me doing the entire top and bottom side of the car tho. But he has some very good tips in there.
my car looks pretty bad and i want to get my car looking really good and was wondering if anyone could tell me if it is possible to do all the wetsanding and polishing without a buffer?
If you happen to have a machine for an arm haha...I think your arm would fall off attempting it. But seriously, no man. You really need the speed of the polisher to cut.
Imagine how much work was left to clean the towels and tools, etc. haha. I'd love to see the car today and see what condition it's in and if it's been kept up. After a job like that, you would hope so.
I vote this to be a sticky!
