You have to either push or pull the lever that is attached to it right behind the seat, I used my fingers on some at a junkyard, works pretty good but you really gotta squeeze in there.

Meaning the seat latches, not the trunk latch.

Or you could try using some kind of hook on a stick to reach thru the split in the back seats and pull the glowing release handle.

Uh.... if his car is unlocked, you should be able to push the trunk button...
But just from "how do i get my keys out of my trunk", sounds like the car is locked with the keys in the trunk. Which means calling a lockout specialist. Or OnStar if available!

I was able to bend one of the seats just enough to grab mine when I did, they were right against the seats though...

lol what's with everyone trying to tear thru the back seat after they get in the car???? push the trunk button...

Anyhow, if you can find a wedge, you can probably open the door enough to possibly get a clothes hanger or whatnot inside to press the unlock button.

yeah that's where it is. I had to find it for my dad when he was driving the car. No keyless entry for me. There's a little door that has the open trunk symbol on it. They used to put the button down on the left side of the seat, back in the good ol' days.

every car ive owned it has been in the glove box. LOL so i look in there and im like weird... and never continued to look LOL. That kind of pisses me off now. LOL....and i learned that the back seat fold down is in the trunk? Everycar i have had, has had it in the back seat just above the seats... everything is backwards compared to my previous cars :O
