My SS/TC is going to be on TV!
My good friend Sean Hyland (did episodes for Dream Car Garage and Sports Car Revolution) along with a proffesional front drive race car driver, took my Cobalt for a loooong day of video shooting. This was a first for me and I had no idea how much work goes into one of these shootings!
Special thanks to Sean, Jeff and John for showing the world what our amazing cars are all about.
They did a road test, full track test with all three modes, launch contol and no lift ****.
Here is a little teaser I took during the day.

I hope to see a rough pre production in two weeks. You guys are going to love it, execpt for me that probably sounded like an idiot when they shoved the camera in my face..lol
They should call Speed NASCAR-TV if you ask me.
Thanks everyone

They loved the car and commented (to me) on how it “actually works” on the racetrack. One thing that took them by surprise was the NLS. At first they were not going to use it for in road racing it is all about saving the equipment and being smooth, so “banging gears” is not very high on the list of proper racing techniques. Heck, it took me a full two months before I started using it in Solosprint.
So after I talked them through it they decided to give it a shot and boy were they impressed! They did not have to "bang" the gears after all
We took over 6 hrs of total video for a ˝ hr slot. Not sure what is going to make the final cut, just glad I am not in charge of editing…
Please note, all comments and opinions are their own with no influence from any third party. I volunteered my Cobalt for free in return for a couple laps in Sean's new ZR1 he ordered.
Thanks again everyone, I've always wanted to be part of something like this
