New sway bar links + charge pipe recall info

So had a rattle in the front end, figured it was the driver side sway bar from the sounds of it. They replaced both and now the rattle is gone and there is a lot less body roll, so I'm happy.

They ordered the parts for the charge pipe recall and I saw the bulletin, what it looks like what they did to fix it was to make the stud it goes on larger (with a smaller upper diameter) and include a new spring steel retaining clip that goes on over the top. There are no changes to the charge piping itself, but maybe this way the force will be distributed more evenly and there is a physical part preventing the piping from coming off.

I'm about to bring mine in for the same issues. Was your noise a clunk from the front drivers side when going over bumps and stuff? I figured it was a loose sway bar end link or tie-rod end, it started once I put about 3K miles on the car and has only gotten worse.

The dealer is gonna hate me this next trip, I need the charge pipe mount, the sway bar link, my rear rotors and pads re-done AGAIN (that will make twice in 5K miles) and my passenger side window is rattling like ******* crazy in any position on the track. Not to mention my two oil leaks. Boo.

I got the powergridinc adjustable endlinks, and while it didn't help my clunking from being lowered that much(it has reduced it a good amount though), any rattling sound is gone. Definitely worthwhile getting.

I'll have to look into those. Off-topic for a second, where did you get your wheels done or did you do them yourself? They look sick and I want to get mine done but I don't really feel like painting them myself.

I got them powdercoated at a place near my house, but they are getting redone because they were not sandblasted the first time and are chipping. They are chemically stripping them and re-powdercoating them again for free. At this place it is $85 a wheel to get them stripped and powdercoated.
