ah.....What type of cobalt do you have?? 2.4, 2.2, tc....If you have a bad maf sensor it can cause the car to act weird and even shut down....MAfs are very very sensitive

I dont think hes saying that nessisaraly but metal shavings can harm your supercharger. You have to relize inside your blower are ceramic screws that are close together.. little metal shavings can get into that and damage them and get down ur manifold and into your motor so you have little metal shavings bouncing around inside your motor up and all over. witch is not good. someone correct me if im wrong im just saying this off of comon sense and half knowledge of a motor.
you should of..
1.) taken your hood off.
2.) took a towel or some sort of cover and put it on your motor.
3.) not do it at all why do u need hood pins again?..lol

i know what you guys are saying but my car feel fine and sounds fine, it will shut down and wont start back up until the BCM completely shuts down. so i have to open a door and shut it and wait till the interior lights and gauges is completely off then starts back up like a charm.

Hmm, thats odd.. I never heard of that. what i will say is either 1 its an electrical problem im sure the electrical system would shut the car off or 2 its the maf. it might have a peice of metal on the little sensor witch is a peice of metal that heats up. if theres somthing on it it could be giving a false reading making the car shut off. yet again someone correct me if im wrong.
thank you =] someone told me they where ceramic or i read it someware they where but thank you for correcting me now i know the troof lol

Typically, the maf wouldn't shut down the car, it should throw a cel and flip over to the VE tables if the maf is totally bad.
I'd bet on your remote start being the issue since this started after you installed it..
