The Best CAI Suggestions for SS/NA 2.4L

Hi everyone,

I'm ready to buy a cold air intake for my 2.4 SS. There are so many to choose from and I'm sure some of you know whats for our cars on the market. I"m wondering if you could give me suggestions such as manufacturer's and models that I should go with. Any suggestions would be helpful..

Thanks.

Crutchfield is overpriced.

I got an injen and i love it. I never got the hydro shield tho, and therefore my filter is dented a bit and needs to be replaced. But i love the fact that i can do either SRI or CAI.

I have injen and like it. there was a test if I remember right and K&N did beat out the injen but not by much and you can typically get the injen cheaper from site vendors. I think I paid 190 shipped for the polished one.

I have an Injen CAI with a K&N cone on mine. Seems to be perfectly fine. The intake was like 100 used a few years back, and the filter was like 45 new. I also hacked a little air inlet type deal into my passenger fender for extra air and even without a hydro-shield, I've never had an issue. So who knows. Even when I was running it as only an SRI and I was using an air scoop hood, I never had any issues.. Whatever you do, get that stupid ass stock intake off. lol

Did you retune after you got the header and dp and it all depends on the tune you had also are you auto because the 5 speeds always run higher number and his was an 08 which also run higher. Numbers than the 06 and 07's
