p0013 and p0130 HELP!!
so i decided to drive my car kinda hard this weekend...going all the way up to red line, cruising at 4000 + rpm, you know, the fun stuff. anyways i am now throwing the code p0013 and p0130. can anyone help me fix my exhaust problem? i have a brand new front 02 sensor and a spacer for the rear one

can anyone help? should i got back to stock exhaust and see if the codes continue on stock exhaust. is this covered under 5 year power train warranty? i've had the car for about 2 years now, so i know a lot of things aren't covered anymore.

First off, were these codes one time issues or do they keep popping up after getting them cleared? How soon do they pop up after clearing?
P0130 - This code is saying that your ECM is having problems reading data from your upstream O2 sensor. Check to make sure it's connected properly and look for any shorts/kinks in the harness. You say you have a brand new O2 sensor... Is it an AC Delco one (from the dealer) or something else? Cobalts are notorious for being finicky when using anything other than AC Delco O2 sensors.
P0013 - Exhaust camshaft position sensor is most likely bad - look into replacing it.

as for the p0013, i think its because i have a vented hood without the engine cover on. water could have gotten on the sensor. should i put the cover back on and go to the dealer? it should be covered under the 5 year power train warranty, right?

codes keep coming on. i'll clear it and it'll be on the next day in the morning. the new upstream O2 sensor is from the parts Dept from Chevy (it is AC Delco). maybe its just the location in the new header or it is burnt out/ not working out of the package...

its not a ricer hood...
but thats my opinion. anyways, if i put the engine cover (big plastic crap) back on, that would shield it anyways, i wouldn't see why i hood could cause VVT issues. i guess al i can do is go to them and try it.
should the dealer not want to fix it, anyone know the part number and price to the Exhaust Cam shaft positioning sensor?
