Aluminum flywheel = CEL p0300 p0301 p0302?
Just as the thread states. I know it may sound stupid that a flywheel can cause a CEL but just hear me out.
I recently installed an aluminum flywheel and a clutchmasters stage 4 in my car. I have only 40 miles on the car and anytime I come to a stop for 30 seconds to 1 minute the car is flashing the check engine light. It runs completely fine for normal driving with no audible misfires or sputtering. I have not beat on the car with the new clutch in it so I can't tell you how it's doing at WOT.
I threw the scanner on there and p0300, p0301, and p0302 all show up. I've read that because the flywheel revs faster the computer thinks it's a misfire or knocking? I reset the codes and let the car idle in the driveway for a minute and they come right back. I know this is very common when Subaru's put in a light flywheel but I haven't heard anything for the Cobalt's yet.

I swapped the coils around to see if the CEL would follow the coils and it doesn't.
Might not be a bad idea to put a meter on the car and see what voltage it's getting. It is over 3 years old now.
Yes I plan on raising it to 900 or so. It should making taking off alittle easier too.

Iam Broke - Never had that with the SPEC LW FW but it did log a few more misfires than the stock FW. If you have access to HPTuners, raise the idle to 900 rpm and see if that helps.

Fast forward 2 weeks and added 300 miles on the car. After a long 100 mile drive to the beach it just stopped flashing the CEL all together. No CEL or anything now...weird.

It can't be the tune because that's been on there for 36,000 miles and 2.5 years. The only changes to the tune have been WOT tables. I've had the NGK plugs on there for about 10k miles now. It's possible it could be the plugs but why all of a sudden was it misfiring after the clutch install and cleared up with me not touching the car besides a coil rotation.
