shooting for 330whp on blower and 450+ on spray, not sure if this little m62 has it in it, but damnit I'm gonna try
figure sub zero iat's and meth injection I should get there, and then the nitrous for some added shens
btw the 296whp pull was on 93 octane with only a single 5 gph meth jet 2.55 pulley shorty header etc.
e85 I should be definitely able to squeeze out some more

I should mod my ion just to make that list, stage two with a good tune would probably put me on the list. I should also mention I have probably one of the highest reading dyno's around.
This is stock pulley and a week before I fixed the IC pump It's like making up those numbers as stage said.

still have a bunch of other stuff to finish, but not doing it this weekend, need a break for at least a few hours
after running left to install and wire is:
solonoids for co2 kits
nitrous kit
meth kit
probably mount the nitrous bottle tomorrow and the meth tank and pump at least
then some interior speaker upgrades I have sitting at my house to make it so I can hear the radio lol.

You running a dual stage meth kit on it?
I ran the Devils own dual stage on my supercharged years ago but only had a baby 7gph nozzle on it. Still enough meth WOT to hold 25.5* of timing on the TVS.

lets play a game called guess what broke
******* motor didn't even fire up and something let go already, first motor I've built over 17+ years of doing this that didn't fire lol
so here's what we got so far:
cranked the motor a few times with the coils and injectors disconnected to build oil pressure.
hooked everything back up, cranked and sounded like it tried to fire on 1 cylinder and died
figured the rail still had air in it tried it 2 more times did the same thing
3rd time it sounded like it wanted to start, backfired really loudly with a loud crack from under the hood.
Tried cranking it again thinking maybe the cam sensor was off and it sounded like it had no compression,
and to my dismay checked compression on it
cylinder 1 225 psi
cylinder 2 0 psi (gauge didnt even bounce)
cylnder 3 195 psi
cylinder 4 same as 2
timing was good, rotated the motor by hand a few times before I even took it off the stand.
but place your bets, I"ll be starting to look at it a bit saturday, but if it's not something simple, car is getting a tarp over it and will be sitting until it gets warm out,
and to top it off sitting on an extreme angle on jack stands, my rear sunroof drains got clogged and the was a bout 8 inches of water in the trunk, headliner is ruined as is the carpet, back seats, and rear deck
******* cobalts
that is all

thinking dropped the valves too, so motor and head are probably trashed
no idea how, brand new dual springs and retainers and I seated the locks when I did the springs
also put a light coat of oil on the cylinder walls with a shop towel on the cylinder walls before I put the head on

mine smashed the valves due to timing chain slack.

no blue shop towels, no residue left on the walls, just a light coat of some oil for the first few cranks.
but yeah I'll probably be pulling the motor out soon, hope the bottom end made it through it ok, but might need a new head depending on combustion chamber damage. if that's the case cobalt will be sitting for a long time as I'm not putting another dime into that thing until the trans am is running, which should be next weekend hopefully
