FIC 1200 Review

Ok folks here we go.
Last weekend I installed the FIC 1200's.

I can confirm with 100% certainty that they will fit the EV1 harness. aka the same one that the 60s and 80s fit.

Now on to impressions. So far Ive only done MAF calibration. They idle better than the 80s I had before. I believe this has to do with the spray pattern of the injectors and the lower min pulse width. Im sure ARM can comment more on this.
I will be doing VE tonight and will add more to this as I go.
Something to remember you MUST scale your tune to run these. They well surpass the hardcoded injector limit of the PCM.

Overall I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend them!

Well it took me a bit but I got a good log of the VE and have smoothed it and modified it. Should be more refined tomorrow.

I'm interested in running FIC injectors in the future, because the Siemens aren't really what I am looking for. Just wondering what injectors you got (EVO, WRX, SRT-4, etc.) since FIC doesn't carry Cobalt injectors. Also wondering what you did to make them fit as far as the O-ring? Glad to find something different than the Siemens.

They are actually custom from FIC. You have to contact armclure to see how to order them. He would also be able to give you a price. Basically to make them fit correctly you need to extend your fuel rail out a bit with spacers that he can make and also you have to have them set up correctly in the rail so they spray on each valve.

Keep in mind these are big injectors, you would only really need them for a build pushing a lot of power or needs a lot of fuel on E85

You would have to ask armclure. He is the one who set me up for my order.
