The adj gears are useless if you have a proper intake and exhaust cam. But nobody has a blank 2.0 exhaust cam , and he apparently didn't want to machine one , so he had to go with the next best thing.

Yeah, like 6 months ago I said that. I'm gonna use the cam gears to adjust the valve overlap to see what the car likes. With less overlap, the effective compression is increased. Since I'm only using 9.5:1 compression pistons, I think I can use this to my advantage.

So today I ordered the rods. It turned out, Eagle rods won't work with a 23 mm bore. I called around asking for prices on rods. Since we've been getting just about everything sponsored for the project, rods was one thing that we just couldn't get for free. After a few calls, Crower rods agreed to make us a set of custom billet steel rods. We told them about the project and everything, and they agreed to do it, at cost, so I'm paying $660 for 4 custom billet rods not too bad IMO

I'm a video editor / delivery boy. So I'm either on the road driving, or I'm at the computer working. Either way, I find it amazing that I joined 19 days BEFORE you, yet I have 2100 less posts!!
